The platform
CommonGround connects neighbours through a Kindness exchange — time and skills flowing freely between people. No money. Just community.
Charitable Incorporated Organisation — Coming Soon
A new charity building the infrastructure for communities to look after each other — and reclaiming land for everyone.
Who we are
Common Wealth Common Ground is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation being registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
We run the CommonGround community platform, the heating programme for people in fuel poverty, and community funds in every local area. As donations grow, we establish County Land Trusts — gifting land to communities for Sanctuary Farms held in trust for the people of that county.
We operate a strict 1:3 pay ratio. The highest paid person earns no more than three times the lowest. Published openly. Non-negotiable.
CommonGround connects neighbours through a Kindness exchange — time and skills flowing freely between people. No money. Just community.
Donations fund Sanctuary Farms — one per county. Food forests, healing spaces, homeless recovery centres, and sites of worship held in trust for the people of that county.
Local welders and fabricators build safe oil heaters for elderly people who can't afford to heat their homes. Community funded. Locally built. A carbon monoxide alarm with every installation.
Timebanks, food banks, Men's Sheds, WI groups, churches, housing associations — all welcome as partners. Their members. Their communities. One platform.
These are not slogans. They are the measures by which we judge everything we do. Every heater installed, every Sanctuary Farm acquired, every Kindness exchanged moves us closer.
How it all fits together
It feeds itself. It grows itself. It heals itself.
Our pay principle
The highest paid person in Common Wealth Common Ground earns no more than three times the lowest paid person. This is written into our constitution.
More people working. More skills. More money staying in the community where it belongs.
